CANOPUS Geostationary Solar Power Station

The concept of CANOPUS is to us solar energy beamed straight from an orbiting collector complex in order to benefit from the optimal conversion conditions.

Costs, transport and other problems of geostationary solarpower-station have been reduced and the economic manufacture of solar-cell systems, being more than 90% of the whole complex, has also been optimized.

Unused carrier space around the load has been reduced to almost zero due to the transport of automatically produced semifinished products in the flight from earth to the orbit location.
